We would like to express two concerns and request amendments to the proposed legislation to address these: 1. Bill 48 does not sufficiently define"stakeholders"to the extent there is reasonable assurance organizations and groups whose purposes and missions are congruent with the purposes of the proposed Office of Sustainability, Climate, Equity, and Resilience, such as the HIG, the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs on Moku 0 Keawe, etc. will be a part of the regular meetings described therein. 2. Bill 48 does not sufficiently define"regular meetings"to the extent there is reasonable assurance such meetings shall be public meeetings to be also held when inevitable unforeseen conditions and circumstances develop that need to be addressed in a timely manner. Sincerely, e LA Chuck Flaherty! l Executive Committee Chair Comm. Mo. Ref.To: 1) (filA (04 Ref. Date JUN 2 1 2023
