Most important is the next step, which is walking the talk. This is our moment to establish a County Office with all the responsibility and authority to ensure that all in the county not only understands the principals but also behaves accordingly.Action is more important than words. I believe that the passage of Bill 48 and the establishment of OSCER will position Hawai`i County as a leader in sustainability, climate change adaptation, and community resilience. By taking proactive measures to protect our environment and promote equity,we can inspire other jurisdictions and set an example for responsible and forward-thinking governance. This is an existential moment for our community. Please vote to support this Bill. Harvey Stone _ Climate, Sustainability and Resilience Advocate ':, 69-1035 Keana PI. #4, € Waikoloa, HI 96738 C 360 961 0177 0 ti_I Comm. Mo.
