Subject: Support of the Office of Sustainability
Aloha,
To whom it may concern, I hope it is not too late to submit testimony on this matter, but I've been hearing all about the
Office of Sustainability, Climate Equity, and Resiliency as part of my participation in the Hawaii Farmer's Union United
and it sounds like just what this island needs to be able to coordinate a better future with sustainable local food
production and sustainable development. I currently help operate an 86 acre off grid farming community where I am
raising my two small children and believe that we need an office like this to help other communities like mine connect
and thrive.
