Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs, to which was referred
Resolution No. 204-23, reports as follows:
Resolution 204-23,transmitted via Communication No. 365 dated July 5, 2023, and introduced
by Council Member Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder, strongly urges the United States Postal Service
to expand Post Office infrastructure for the District of Puna, Hawai`i.
Several members spoke in favor of the resolution.
Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Resolution No. 204-23, and recommends its adoption.
