Final Subdivision Approval No 7121
We aze herewith requesting that "Huliko'a Drive" be used as the street name for the roadway
within the subject subdivision. Mrs Jean Greenwell ,historian for the Kona Historical Society
provided us with information regazding this name. Huliko'a is a family name associated with this
land area and means "to seek into the depth of a matter; to describe fully; to give a description."
The example given is "He Wahi Huliko'a Manu Hawaii" (Title of an arhicle about birds, "A short
Study of Hawaiian Birds").
Yow approval of ow request is appreciated. Please call me if you have any questions. Thank
you.
