Mrs Jean Greenwell ,historian for the Kona Historical Society provided us with information regazding this name. Huliko'a is a family name associated with this land area and means "to seek into the depth of a matter; to describe fully; to give a description." The example given is "He Wahi Huliko'a Manu Hawaii" (Title of an arhicle about birds, "A short Study of Hawaiian Birds"). Yow approval of ow request is appreciated.
