Aloha council members,
I
I find Bill 49 interesting. However, a lot more explanation and discussion of its value and potential downsides related to
democratic process and expectations is needed before this bill becomes law.
What does it mean if a person who was elected leaves before the end of their term but then is replaced —with the right
to vote — by someone with entirely different views for one,two our three months?
Mahalo for taking this type of bill seriously and for vetting its implications thoroughly before casting a vote.
