for Leeward Planning Commission
To the Honorable Members of the Hawaii County Council,
I am writing this testimony to express my strong support for Mr.Trey Livingston's appointment to the Hawaii County Leeward
Planning Commission. Having known Trey for several years,I can confidently say that he possesses the qualities and expertise
necessary to serve as a valuable member of the commission.
Trey has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to community development and sustainable growth throughout his
career in the military and now as a real estate agent. His extensive experience in urban planning,coupled with his passion for
environmental preservation, uniquely positions him to make informed and responsible decisions that will benefit the residents
of West Hawaii.Trey's academic background in urban planning,combined with his practical knowledge gained through hands-
on experience, make him well-equipped to analyze complex planning issues and propose effective solutions.
One of Trey's most commendable qualities is his ability to collaborate and engage with a diverse range of people. He is an
exceptional listener who values input from all perspectives and believes in fostering meaningful dialogue to achieve
consensus.Trey has a remarkable ability to blend differing viewpoints and find common ground,ensuring that the decisions
made are both fair and inclusive.
Furthermore,Trey has demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing the Leeward area of Hawaii
County.Through his work with various community organizations, he has gained firsthand knowledge of the issues affecting
residents, including affordable housing,transportation,and sustainable development.His commitment to addressing these
challenges,while preserving the cultural and natural heritage of the region,makes him an ideal candidate for this position.
I have had the privilege of witnessing Trey's dedication to public service firsthand.He has consistently volunteered his time
and expertise to initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life in our community.Trey's involvement in neighborhood
associations and nonprofit organizations showcases his genuine concern for the well-being of our citizens.
Given Trey Livingston's exceptional qualifications,dedication to sustainable growth,and ability to collaborate effectively, I
wholeheartedly endorse his appointment to the Hawaii County Leeward Planning Commission.His deep-rooted understanding
of the local landscape and his commitment to balanced,community-driven development will undoubtedly benefit the
commission and,ultimately,the people of Hawaii County.
