Aloha Councilmembers,
I support the added language re. long-term resilience.
But is it going too far,and is the added language too broad, re. economic development, and for-profits?Could people take
advantage, leading to unintended consequences?
Section 2- 251. Conditions for grants...
(b)The grant award shall be used for expenses that are reasonably and directly related to [t#e
Felief Feeaver., MitigatieR OF d t f] the claim for disaster relief[...] and efforts to
increase long-term resilience including but not limited to economic development.
Section 2-254. Maximum grant award... '°p
(b) A nonprofit organization may act as a fiscal sponsor administering disaster relief funds on
behalf of another entity.
