Presentation Addressing Current Physician Shortage in County and State
of Hawaii.
I respectfully request at least 45-minutes of time on September 5, 2023, during the appropriate
committee agenda for John Uohara, M.D. to discuss the extreme shortage of physicians in the
County and State of Hawaii, the current medical training process, and possible initiatives and/or
solutions in addressing this critical issue impacting our island residents.
