SUBJECT: District 5 Appointment to Youth Commission: Kyla-Marie Turner
Aloha!
I am pleased to submit Kyla-Marie Turner as the District 5 appointment to the County of Hawai`i
Youth Commission.
Kyla-Marie is a recent University of Hawaii at Hilo graduate. Kyla-Marie double majored in
English and Anthropology with a minor in Hawaiian Studies. Kyla-Marie is interested in
advocacy and politics which will position Kyla-Marie as a beneficial voice on our inaugural
Youth Commission with a term ending February 6, 2024.
Please place this communication on the next Governmental Operations and External Affairs
committee agenda.
