Re: Resolution for multi-year agreement
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a multi-year agreement for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the
Department of Finance. The new ERP system is to replace the system currently being
utilized which is nearly 20 years old and will soon no longer be supported by the vendor.
The annual cost will be approximately $2,200,000 per year.

A. REQUEST:
Request for a resolution to allow the Department of Finance to enter into a 10 year contract for a ERP
system for the County.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The current ERP system that the County has is approximately 20 years old and in the near future the current
vendor will no longer support the system. The approximate cost of the system including annual maintenance
fees is $2,200,000 per year.
