Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating
$8,903,560.97 from the Office of Housing Fund Balance from Previous Year account to
the Office of Housing and Community Development's Housing Production account.
These funds will be used to fund successful Housing Production proposals.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
This appropriation reflects funding designated in the Office of Housing and Community Development(OHCD)FY 2022-23
operating budget for the Affordable Housing Production•(AHP)Fund. These funds were not encumbered in FY 2022-23
and lapsed to Fund Balance and now the Office of Housing&Community Development is ready to award funding for
successful proposals and are requesting to increase the FY 2023-24 appropriation for that purpose.
