Re: Resolution to negotiate multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the County of Hawaii to negotiate a multi-year lease
of a portion of real property known as the Lily Yoshimatsu Senior Center, identified by
Tax Map Key (3) 6-7-002:025. The premises is to be used by the Waimea Arts Council,
a not-for-profit organization, for purposes consistent with its mission to stimulate
community interest and participation in programs and to develop and display the creative
and performing arts for all age groups.

Approval to negotiate a multi-year lease of real property identified as Tax Map Key: (3) 6-7-02:25, portion of
the Lily Yoshimatsu Senior Center property, to Waimea Arts Council.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Waimea Arts Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, desires to lease the Parcel from the County. The
facility will be used for art education, art shows, art sales, fundraisers, and administrative purposes,
