Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Bill No. 62, reports as follows:
Bill No. 62,,transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 390 dated July 28,
2023, amends Ordinance No. 23-50, as amended,the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for
the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
This bill appropriates revenues in the State Grants—Food Access Plan Resource Coordination Grant
account($49,942); and appropriates the same to the Food Access Plan Resource Coordination Grant
account,which would be used to identify partnerships,project funding, and other available resources to
establish and implement a Food Access Plan.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 62, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
