Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation from the YWCA of Hawai i Island,
who has donated two Omnichrome Light Sources and a colposcope for use at
the Hilo and Kona Hospital Emergency Rooms by Sex Assault Nurse Examiners
and the Hawai i County Police Department.

A. REQUEST:
Approval of Acceptance by the County Of Hawaii - Prosecuting Attorney's Office
of two (2) C+nnichrane Light Sources and one (1) colposcope for use at Hilo and
Kona Hospital Dnergency Rooms by Sex Assault Nurse Examiners and Police.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
This equipment is being gifted to the county to benefit Sex Assault and other
crime victims by the Sexual Assault Support Service connected with the YWCA
and paid for through a sub-grant of the Victims of Crime Act Federal Grant.
The Prosecuting Attorney's Office will maintain the equipment through the
Victims of Crime Act Grant funding.
