Aloha,
We residents of 12-7217 Moana Kai Pali St, Pahoa Hi 96778, Tim and Janet Curtis
support RESOLUTION Na. 223 3 as we have only one choice in insurance which is
HIPA. Our rates have gone have double these past 3 years and there is a limit on our
coverage a max of 350k. We use to have other insurance carriers in the past but they
no longer insure Lava Zone 2.
We are on a limited income and my husband and I disabled and cannot afford the
yearly cost, with the cost of living in Hawaii, such as daily needs, food and fuel it has
become very difficult. We cannot afford to move to due real estate prices and this is
our only home.
