Aloha, I purchased my home in 2005 and have been paying insurance with gradual increases here and there,when I received a
letter saying the state said it's ok for them to charge 15-20%more I was shocked. I instantly started to worry how much is my
new bill going to be. I have a small business and support a family of 4. Each month it's bill after bill it's hard to do any thing
extra,even eating out is a luxury..gas food everything in Hawaii is expensive,why is it ok why is it necessary to charge us so
much ? I paid plenty over the years and barely even got anything for repairs after the eruption.We should have choices and
options, insurance should be affordable, my whole tax refund check goes to pay my home insurance. It creates extra hardship
for sure .
