Aloha Council Members,
I am writing to support Bill 63, "Amends Chapter 14, of the Hawai'i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), by
Adding a New Article Relating to Maintenance of Private, Nondedicated, and Non-surrendered Roads."
Road maintenance is an issue for most private subdivisions, and with 72 miles of roads in Hawaiian Acres, it is a
continuing challenge. Our community would greatly appreciate assistance to upgrade critical roads and improve access
for emergency responders.
Please consider this initiative and give a positive vote.
