SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 228-23; A Resolution
Transferring/Appropriating an Appropriation Out and From a Designated Fund
Account and Crediting Same to a Designated Fund Account to Provide a Grant To
the Waimea Community Association to Support the 2023 Waimea Christmas
Twilight Parade.
Please find attached a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 228-23. The proposed amendment
is shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 228-23;
material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. Due to
the limited nature of this amendment, a draft of the new resolution that would result if this
amendment were adopted is not attached.
The BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED clause of Resolution No. 228-23 is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:
