Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Eileen Lacerte of District 9 to the Police Commission.
Eileen has been a resident of Hawai`i for 30 years. She grew up in an Air Force family, which
allowed her to live and travel around the world. Her upbringing was about community service
and putting others first. Eileen volunteered during the Vietnam War in a hospital in the
Philippines with the Red Cross.
For the last 30 years, she has made Hawai`i her home. She is the Chairperson for a charitable
organization called Koi Pond, which raises funds for charities and children's programs. Serving
the community locally and globally is in her family's DNA and she is looking forward to serving
Hawaii Island by being on the Police Commission.
If confirmed, she will serve a term ending December 31, 2028. Your favorable confirmation is
