SUBJECT: Resolution No. 228-23, Draft 2; A Resolution Transferring/Appropriating an
Appropriation Out and From a Designated Fund Account and Crediting Same to a
Designated Fund Account to Provide a Grant to the Waimea Community
Association to Support the 2023 Waimea Christmas Twilight Parade.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 228-23, Draft 2. At its meeting on September 6, 2023,
the Council amended Resolution No. 228-23 with the contents of Communication No. 406. 1,
resulting in the attached draft.
The Council voted to suspend Rule No. 23 -1 (d), which requires the holdover of a substantively
amended resolution, and adopted Resolution No. 228-23, as amended to Draft 2.
