write and propose. I live on Alanui Tiwi Road in Volcano and we are in need of help. We need support for
maintenance of our road, which is "Private, Non -dedicated, and Non -Surrendered." Our road had been
maintained by the community since well before I moved here in 2000. All funding and labor has been provide
by the community, but we are getting too old to continue, and new community members are not always
interested in helping with funding or labor. The road is in such disrepair, I have serious concerns that
emergency vehicles like ambulances and fire trucks will not be able to drive on it. More funding such as that
proposed in this bill would enable us to keep the road in better condition. Our community would be safer as a
result. I
