Aloha,
As a resident of the state of Hawaii since 1999 and of Ocean View since 2005 I beg you folks to vote in favor of this
resolution, so that we can move forward in getting help for residents seeking home insurance coverage especially in lava
zones 1 and 2!All of us know how devastatingly costly it is to obtain home insurance coverage these days-but what
would be even more devastating-is if we couldn't obtain it at all. What would happen to the many people who have a
mortgage,which requires carrying a home insurance policy?Would the mortgage companies and banks foreclose on
those who can't get insured because of the lack of insurance companies willing to insure here? It is time our state
government steps in to help out the homeowners who find themselves in this predicament. Please pass Resolution 223-
23 as soon as possible,time and options are running out !
