Additional federally derived funds in the amount of$16,980 are being provided by the State of Hawai`i Department of Transportation and the National Priority Safety Program to establish a statewide traffic data system and ensure compliance with national standards. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these additional funds into the Hawai`i County Police's HCPD Data Grant account, bringing the total appropriation to $89,980.
