Additional federally derived funds in <br /> the amount of$97,970.95 are being provided by the State of Hawai`i Department of <br /> Transportation and the National Priority Safety Program to fund operations focused on <br /> reducing the number of drivers operating a vehicle while impaired. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Hawai`i County Police's HCPD Roadblock Program account, <br /> bringing the total appropriation to $522,970.95. <br /> If there are any questions,please do not hesitate to call Hauoli Aiona of the Police <br /> Department at 961-2273. <br /> Deanna S.
