REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
Dear Chairwoman Kimball and Hawai`i County Council Members:
Pursuant to Haw.Rev. Stat. § 92-5(a)(4),we request attorney-client confidential
discussion, in executive session,to consult with the County Council on questions and issues
pertaining to its powers, duties,privileges, immunities, and liabilities regarding the above-
referenced matter, including a discussion regarding a lawsuit filed by the Bickerton Law Group
LLLP. on behalf of its clients,Mary and Martin Buckingham.
We ask that this case be placed on the Council's October 4,2023, agenda to discuss
matters requiring County Council approval.
