Aloha Council LAAC Committee Members,
I am writing in support of Resolution 241-23, funding Malama O Puna's stewardship grant request for PONC property
"Wai'ele", a coastal property in Puna. This award will fund important work on the property related to invasive species
management, trail upkeep, and beach cleanup, as well as development of a steering committee comprised of Hawaiian
descendants to lead restoration efforts and plan for long-term management. I urge you to support the effort by passing
this resolution.
