RE: Resolution Authorizing the Appropriation of Prior Year Funds
For Election Purposes
For your review and favorable consideration, I am transmitting a resolution that authorizes the
appropriation of prior year funds for election purposes. As you may remember, the prior year
funds are a result of the supplemental agreement executed for the Clerk/Council computer
system.
We estimate that a Temporary Election Clerk I and Elections Warehouse Worker I will need to
begin their training and work (voter registration and the communications system, respectively)
earlier than anticipated. The increase in travel is created by the RFP selection process for the
statewide voting systems vendor.
