aSY OF N <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />7rE OF.N'.¢ <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAVI <br />BILL NO. 83 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24- <br />280, SCHEDULE 28, AND SECTION 24-281, SCHEDULE 29 OF THE HAWAII <br />COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION), RELATING TO NO PARKING AT ANYTIME <br />UPON CERTAIN STREETS OR PORTION OF STREETS AND PARKING <br />PROHIBITED DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to: (1) prohibit parking alongside certain <br />sections of Alii Drive that front Kahalu`u Beach Park; and (2) to designate certain sections <br />alongside Alii Drive as public parking areas, during the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28, entitled <br />"No parking at anytime," subsection "(f) Kona," of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 <br />edition), is amended by amending the following listings: <br />• Ali`i Drive, east (mauka) side, from a point five hundred eighty-one feet south of <br />Makole`a Street and extending seventy five] six -eight feet north of Makole`a Street. <br />• Ali`i Drive, east (mauka) side, from a point three hundred [sever] nine feet north of <br />Makole`a Street and extending one thousand three hundred thirty-five feet north of <br />Makole`a Street. <br />• Ah'i Drive, west k(makai� side, [ from a point one hundred feet [on eithe <br />side of eaeh .7riye.t,.,y into KahE'„`„ Bene , Pad(-.] south of Makole`a Street and extending <br />six hundred twenty-two feet north of Makole`a Street. <br />SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28, entitled <br />"No parking at anytime," subsection "(f) Kona," of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 <br />edition), is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately inserted and to read as follows: <br />• Ali`i Drive, west (makai) side, from a point nine hundred thirty-six feet north of <br />Makole`a Street and extending thirty-three feet in northerly direction. <br />o Alii Drive, west (makai) side, from a point seven hundred eighty-one feet north of <br />Makole`a street and extending seventy-three feet in a northerly direction. <br />
