JNtvr s i4 <br />o � <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />7TE OF•NF'•N ' <br />RESOLUTION NO. 238 23 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING THE SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE AN ICE MACHINE FOR THE <br />PAHALA FIRE STATION. <br />WHEREAS, the Pahala Fire Station is located approximately 45 miles away from the <br />Kea`au Fire Station on the east and approximately 65 miles away from the Kealakekua Fire <br />Station on the west; and <br />WHEREAS, many of Hawaii County Fire Department's existent stations and facilties <br />are in need of improvements to insure support of their operations; and <br />WHEREAS, an ice machine at the Pahala Fire Station in the Ka`u district will help <br />support its efficient in operations; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Hawaii Fire <br />Department to purchase an ice machine for the Pdhala Fire Station. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $5,300 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.221.6223.06 Hawaii Fire Department <br />Fire Auxiliary Services Equipment <br />457 Fire Station Equipment <br />(Pahala Fire Station — Ice Machine) <br />$5,300 <br />$5,300 <br />
