HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 288 Draft 01 2022-2024A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING THE SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE AN ICE MACHINE FOR THE
PĀHALA FIRE STATION.
WHEREAS, the Pāhala Fire Station is located approximately 45 miles away from the Kea‘au Fire Station on the east and approximately 65 miles away from the Kealakekua Fire Station on the
west; and
WHEREAS, many of Hawaiʻi County Fire Department’s existent stations and facilties are in need of improvements to insure support of their operations; and
WHEREAS, an ice machine at the Pāhala Fire Station in the Kaʻū district will help support its efficient in operations; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Hawai‘i Fire Department to purchase an ice machine
for the Pāhala Fire Station.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
