Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 264-23; a CRF Resolution to Provide a
Grant to the Keli`i William Ioane Legacy Foundation for the 2023 Makahiki
Community Celebration
Please see below a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 264-23. The proposed amendment is
illustrated below in Ramseyer format as applied to the current contents of Resolution No. 264-23.
Material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken; material to be added is underscored.
Resolution No. 264-23 is amended by amending the fourth WHEREAS clause to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, the Keli`i William Ioane Legacy Foundation is requesting
funds to assist with expenses in preparation for the 2023 Makahiki celebration,
which include materials and supplies for the Makahiki [}prizes;] games, apparel for
community volunteers and participants, and area maintenance; and"
Due to the limited scope of this amendment, a draft copy of the Draft 2 of this resolution that
would result if this proposed amendment is adopted is not attached.
