Request for Executive Session re: Hui Malama Honok6hau v. County of Hawaii;
Civil No. 23-00393, U.S. District Court, District of Hawaii
Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 92-5(a)(4), we are requesting a discussion in
executive session with Corporation Counsel Elizabeth Strance regarding questions and issues
pertaining to the Council's powers, duties, privileges, immunities and liabilities as they relate to
Hui Malama Honok5hau, an unincorporated association v. County of Hawaii, filed in the U.S.
District Court, District of Hawaii, Civil No. 23-00393.
We ask that this matter be placed on the appropriate committee agenda on October 17, 2023 or
November 14, 2023.
