SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 240-23, Draft 2; A Resolution Approving the
Hawaii County Council Legislative Proposals and Priorities to be
Considered for Inclusion in the 2024 Hawaii State Association of
Counties Legislative Package.
Attached please find Resolution No. 240-23, Draft 2. During its meeting on October 4, 2023, the
Council amended Resolution No. 240-23, with the contents of Communications No. 426.2 and
426.3, resulting in this Draft 2.
The Council voted to suspend Rule No. 23-1(d) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of
the Council, which requires the holdover of a substantively amended resolution, and adopted
Resolution No. 240-23, as amended to Draft 2.
