COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2318 2.3. <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING THE SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE A CERTIFIED AGRICULTURAL <br />SCALE FOR THE WAIMEA POLICE STATION. <br />WHEREAS, there are many improvements that need to be implemented at existing <br />police stations and other facilities of the Police Department to support departmental operations; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, these improvements include purchasing essential equipment for the <br />Waimea Police Station, such as a certified agricultural scale to better handle cases of agricultural <br />theft; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Police Department <br />to purchase a certified agricultural scale for the Waimea Police Station. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.201.5203.20 Police Department <br />Police Admin.
