Z 3 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE WREATHS FOR THE WEST <br />HAWAII VETERANS CEMETERY-PU`U HO`OMAHA O NA PO`E KOA O HAWAII <br />KOMOHANA FOR THE NATIONAL WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA DAY. <br />WHEREAS, the mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember the fallen, honor <br />those that serve, and teach the value of freedom by coordinating the laying of wreaths at <br />veterans' cemeteries across the United States; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase <br />wreaths for the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery-Pu`u Ho`omaha O Na Po`e Koa O Ilawai`i <br />Komohana ("West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery") for the National Wreaths Across America Day; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, cadets of the Hawaii Wing Civil Air Patrol, Kona Composite Squadron, <br />will lay the wreaths upon each grave at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery for the National <br />Wreaths Across America Day; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to purchase wreaths for the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery for the <br />National Wreaths Across America Day. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />1y G113 114=1 3 <br />010.500.5503.02 Department of Parks and Recreation <br />P&R Admin OCE <br />115 Mise.
