A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING THE SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE A CERTIFIED AGRICULTURAL
SCALE FOR THE WAIMEA POLICE STATION.
WHEREAS, there are many improvements that need to be implemented at existing police stations and other facilities of the Police Department to support departmental operations; and
WHEREAS, these improvements include purchasing essential equipment for the Waimea Police Station, such as a certified agricultural scale to better handle cases of agricultural theft;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Police Department to purchase a certified agricultural
scale for the Waimea Police Station.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
