The Hawaii Police Department supports Hawaii County Resolution 299-23, which would provide
funding for the purchase of two certified agricultural scales for use by the Hawaii Police Department. The
purchase of these scales will aid our department in combating agricultural theft.
We appreciate your continuing support of the Hawaii Police Department as we endeavor to make our
island a safe place to live, visit and conduct business.
Should there be any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact Lieutenant William Derr of
the Hilo Community Policing Section at (808) 961-2350 or via email at william.derr@bawaiicounty.gov.
