Sako <br />Director <br />Diane Nakagawa <br />Deputy Director <br />C-) <br />W <br />c - <br />In the current Budget Ordinance 23-50, $580,000 is appropriated in the Kua Bay Grant <br />account and $1,019,103 is appropriated in the Hapuna Beach Grant account. Additional <br />state funds in the amount of $443,414 are being provided by the State of Hawaii <br />Department of Land and Natural Resources to be used for costs associated with Kua Bay <br />and Hapuna Beach ocean safety. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br />additional funds into the Fire Department's Kua Bay - State Grant account, bringing the <br />total appropriation to $778,220 and into the Hapuna Beach - State Grant account, <br />bringing the total appropriation to $1,264,297. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Darwin Okinaka of the Hawaii <br />County Fire Department at 932-2900. <br />6— -d A, -- <br />Deanna S.
