Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 90, reports as follows:
Bill No. 90, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 524 dated
September 29, 2023, amends Ordinance No. 23-50, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County
of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024.
This bill increases revenues in the State Grants — Career Criminal Program account ($94,240); and
appropriates the same to the Career Criminal Program account, for a total appropriation of $546,168,
to support the prosecution of career criminals.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 90, and recommends
its passage on first reading.
