RESOLUTION NO. 339 23
RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW CLERK III POSITION
FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development is in need
of a Clerk III position to provide administrative support for the department, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development has grown
significantly, and this position is necessary to provide clerical support to the
Administrative Services Assistant and numerous Specialists; and
WHEREAS, the position indicated above is one (1) Clerk III, SR -10;
and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai'i County Charter
states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions... for which
appropriations have been made by the council...", now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that one (1) Clerk III, SR -10, position be created in the Department of
Research and Development.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Office of Management, Department of Finance, Department
of Research and Development and Department of Human Resources.
