Home My WebLink AboutRES 341 Draft 01 2022-2024COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII ryo RESOLUTION NO. 341 23 RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW PERMIT SYSTEMS COORDINATOR POSITION AND ONE (1) NEW FACILITIES PROGRAM MANAGER POSITION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is in need of a one (1) Permit Systems Coordinator position and one (1) Facilities Program Manager position to support their Building Division; and WHEREAS, the Permit Systems Coordinator position is needed to maintain and evolve the EPIC system, and WHEREAS, the Facilities Program Manager position is necessary to manage the Building Division's Design & Engineering, General Services, and Repair and Maintenance Sections ; and WHEREAS, the positions indicated above are one (1) Permit Systems Coordinator, SR -18, position and one (1) Facilities Program Manager, SR -28, position; and WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai'i County Charter states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions... for which appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that one(1) Permit Systems Coordinator, SR -18, position and one (1) Facilities Program Manager, SR -28, position be created in the Department of Public Works. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of Management, Department of Finance, Department of Public Works and Department of Human Resources.
