SUBJECT: The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund's "The Wall That Heals"
presentation
I respectfully request at least 30 -minutes of time on the appropriate committee agenda for a
presentation on behalf of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (V VMF), relating to its mobile
memorial of the Wall that Heals, scheduled for display in Hilo in January of 2024.
As members of the County of Hawai'i Veterans Advisory Commission, and the V VMF Hawaii
County Host Committee, Michael Doolittle, Tom Wojszynski and Marcy Brinkley will present
on the significance of the exhibit, the importance of honoring our Hawai`i's Vietnam Veterans,
as well as the healing opportunity the mobile wall has for all Hawai`i's veterans.
Please refer this matter to the appropriate committee for November 14, 2023. Should you have
