RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW CLERK III POSITION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development is in need of a Clerk III position to provide administrative support for the department; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development has grown significantly, and this position is necessary to provide clerical support to the Administrative Services Assistant and numerous
Specialists; and
WHEREAS, the position indicated above is one (1) Clerk III, SR-10; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai‘i County Charter states that the Mayor has the power to “Create positions...for which appropriations have been made by the council...”;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that one (1) Clerk III, SR-10, position be created in the Department of Research and Development.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of Management, Department of Finance, Department of Research and Development and Department of Human
Resources.
