Aloha Honorable County Council.First,l am in support of Resolution 333-23 for added funding to support the Fire Department
and potential wild fire threats .
I am in strong support of Resolution 330-23,helping to create a management plan and state funding for the Kumukahi
area.As owner of Kapoho Crater,we are hoping the management plan moves forward as soon as possible.Kumukahi is very
important and in order to create this management plan,access and restoration of the 700 feet of roadway must be
restored.Having no access forcultural practitioners sincethe 2018 eruption to this eastern point has been discouraging.A
management plan on the remaining burial sites of this area is overdue and hopefully can be implemented immediately,mahalo
