Re: Resolution Transferring Fund
Enclosed is a resolution transferring $15,000 from the Transfer to Solid Waste
Fund to the Sundry Refund account. As an exceptional amount of refunds have
been requested this fiscal year, this account is almost depleted.

A. Request:
Please transfer/appropriate an additional $15,000 to the miscellaneous refunds account,
010-911-5911.24-341. The initial $15,000 appropriation has been nearly depleted, with a
balance at Jan. 20, 2000 of $857.
It is estimated that an additional $15,000 will be sufficient to carry the account to June 30.
B. Background and Justification
This account is used to make refunds of fees collected by various departments, such as building
permit fees, plumbing permit fees, electrical permit fees, and park facilities rentals. There have
been more large refunds this year, in the $200 to $1000 range, than in past years, and this has
resulted in the account being depleted sooner than usual.
