Subject: Acquisition of Old Coast Road, North Kohala.
Aloha Honorable Councilmen,
Again Mahalo for your service to our Beautiful County and your commitment to serve its people.
I am writing in support for Resolution 328 23, regarding the acquisition of the Old Coast Guard Road. It is a very important
access road for our community since it was built during the day of the Coast Guard LORAN Station. It is the only open ocean
access road between the Upolu Airport Road And Kapaa Beach Road. It also has many significant cultural site that it lends
access to. It has always been a great fishing and diving spot for our community. Pali Oka Moa, an old song of Kohala is written
about this place.
Please support this resolution as it is very important access road for the people of Kohala.
