SUBJECT: Resolution No. 333-23, Draft 2; a Resolution Strongly Urging the Office of the
Mayor to Increase Capacity and Funding for the Hawaii Fire Department to
Proactively Mitigate the Potential Impacts of Wildfires.
Please find attached Resolution No. 333-23, Draft 2. During the Council meeting on November
15, Resolution No. 333-23 was amended with the contents of Communication No. 565.5,
resulting in this Draft 2.
The council members voted to suspend Rule No. 23-1 (d) of the Rules of Procedure and
Organization of the Council, which requires the holdover of a substantively amended resolution,
and adopted Resolution No. 333-23, as amended to Draft 2.
