Aloha Council Chair Kimball and Council Members:
I am pleased to nominate Mr. Dean Au to the Leeward Planning Commission.
Dean has been working as a carpenter for 28 years and has also been actively involved in the
community. Throughout the years,he has served on various boards, including Hope Services, St.
Joseph School Advisory, and other boards that serve Hawaii Island.
Dean's extensive experience, knowledge, and willingness to serve will greatly benefit the South
Kohala District. If confirmed, he will serve until December 31, 2028.
