J�tV.ocH�, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 370 23 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> DONATION OF AN ADA COMPLIANT ELKAY WATER REFILLING <br /> STATION WITH INSTALLATION TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. <br /> WHEREAS, Keiki of Da Aina Foundation(K.O.A. Foundation) is donating an ADA <br /> compliant Elkay Water Refilling Station with installation to the County of Hawai`i <br /> Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br /> WHEREAS, this donation, valued at approximately $2,000, is a state-of-the-art water <br /> fountain equipped with a water bottle refill capacity to be installed at the Kekuaokalani <br /> Gymnasium(Old Airport Gym) in Kailua-Kona; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter,provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, , in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter,the County of <br /> Hawai`i, accepts this donation. <br />
